Angel Reese Reveals the Secret to Her Three-Point Shooting Success

    By Grant Young,

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese drained the first two three-point shots of her WNBA career during Friday night's 88-84 win against the Seattle Storm.

She also set a new career high with 27 total points to go along with 10 rebounds (which was her 12th consecutive double-double).

But fans are used to Reese's excellent scoring in the paint and grabbing rebounds with ease.

Her three-point prowess, however, was unknown before Friday.

Reese spoke with media after the win. And when she was asked what went in to her three-point display, the "Chi Barbie" kept it real with her answer.

"This is what I do," Reese said. "I mean, all I needed was an opportunity. Being able to come to Chicago and being able to be a stretch four, and being able to have teammates and coaches surround me with confidence.

"They tell me all the time to shoot it," Reese continued. "And a lot of the time during games, I won't shoot it. Just for my own confidence wise. I know I can make it because I do it in practice... but tonight gave me more confidence... knowing that I can make the shots."

Expect more three's from Reese in the near future.
