WNBA rookie Angel Reese is headed to the league's All-Star game on July 20 in Phoenix, Arizona. The Chicago Sky newcomer may have punched her ticket, but she believes her teammate Chennedy Carter should have also received an invite.

The 12-team lineup for the WNBA's All-Star team includes Caitlin Clark, DeWanna Bonner, Aliyah Boston, Allisha Gray, Dearica Hamby, Brionna Jones, Jonquel Jones, Kayla McBride, Kelsey Mitchell, Arike Ogunbowale, Nneka Ogwumike, and Reese.

"She [Carter] should've been an All-Star," said Reese via AngelAndKamilla on X.

Carter has averaged 15.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. She's arguably the best player on the fast break in the league and has truly turned into one of the most explosive WNBA players in 2024.

Carter began the season on the bench, however. She's started six of the 18 games on the Sky's schedule, so her presence in the lineup could have been a factor in the WNBA's decision.

The 25-year-old is having the best season of her career. In her last year in the league, which was 2022 with the Los Angeles Sparks, she posted 8.9 points and 1.9 assists.

She's always been known for having high scoring ability, but her fit with Chicago has shown that she can truly be one of the best players in the league.

In the Sky's 88-84 victory, Carter notched 33 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Chicago will take the floor again on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET for a rematch against the Storm.
