Chennedy Carter Receives Flagrant Foul For Hard Hit to Storm All-Star's Head

The Chicago Sky and Seattle Storm are locked in an intense matchup on Sunday, just two days after these two teams already met.

Considering the familiarity these two teams have with one another, it makes a lot of sense that there's some contempt.

And there was one moment during Sunday's game where tempers flared between two guards.

During the third quarter, Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter received a flagrant foul for a brutal shot to the head of Seattle Storm star Jewell Loyd.

The play occurred while Loyd was driving to the basket. And Carter struck her in the head while Loyd was gathering to shoot.

While it was a clear Flagrant foul, one of the Storm's commentators was calling for Carter to get ejected for the contact.

But most fans seem to agree that the right call was made to just give Carter a Flagrant 1 on the play.

This is the second consecutive game where Carter received a Flagrant foul. If she gets one more in this WNBA season, she'll be at risk of being suspended for one game.

Carter will need to be on her best behavior from here on out.
