We closed out last week with a +140 winner on our Look of the Day to improve to 14-3 in our last 17 picks. We're looking to stay hot to start the new week with our favorite MLB bet for Monday's slate. Let's go!

Look of the Day: Minnesota Twins @ Chicago White Sox over 4.5 first 5 innings (-135 DraftKings )

The Twins take on the White Sox on Monday night in a battle of AL Central foes, and we're expecting some early fireworks from both offenses in this one. Let's begin with the starting pitchers.

Twins starter Chris Paddack is having the worst season of his MLB career. The right-hander has a 5.29 ERA, a 1.430 WHIP and a .291 batting average allowed. He ranks in the 14th percentile in xBA (.274), the 17th percentile in barrel rate (9.8 percent) and hard-hit rate (43.5 percent) and the ninth percentile in xSLG (.478). Paddack has given up 15 earned runs in his last 17.1 innings of work, and he's surrendered at least two runs in seven of his last eight starts.

On the other side, White Sox starter Chris Flexen hasn't been much better. The righty ranks in the 29th percentile in xERA (4.49) and the fourth percentile in pitching run value (-13), and he's given up at least two earned runs in eight of his last 10 starts. Flexen isn't effective at forcing swings and misses, and that's a bad omen going up against a red-hot Twins lineup.

Since the start of July, Minnesota leads MLB in batting average, OPS, wOBA and wRC+ against right-handed pitching. The Twins have scored 37 runs over their last four games, and they have no plans of slowing down.

The White Sox have been one of the worst offensive teams in the league all season, but they've been much better of late. Chicago ranks 12th in OPS, 13th in wOBA and eighth in wRC against righties over the last 10 days. Both offenses should be able to find success in these friendly matchups.
