Angel Reese Reunited With Former Chicago Sky Teammate Before Aces Game

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese recently posted a video of her reunion with former WNBA teammate Kysre Gondrezick. The two played on the Sky together throughout the 2024 season, just before Gondrezick was released on June 28.

Reese and the Sky are currently in Las Vegas, preparing for a matchup against the Aces on Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET.

"WIT MY POOKIESSSSS," Reese said , with heart eyes and a blush emoji.

Gondrezick appeared in five games for Chicago in 2024, averaging 1.7 points and 0.9 rebounds per game. Her short stint with the Sky featured her first WNBA appearance since her rookie season with the Indiana Fever in 2021.

Reese and Gondrezick have been known to share a healthy relationship, having been seen together at The Summer Smash in Chicago earlier this season. Their off-court exchange went viral, with WNBA fans sending positive notes about the tandem.

The rookie out of LSU has been the most consistent contributor for Chicago, averaging 13.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game this season. She's the star of the show in the Windy City at just 22 years old.

Following the Sky's matchup with the Aces, Reese will be headed to Phoenix, Arizona, for the WNBA All-Star game. The matchup between Team WNBA and Team USA will take place on July 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
