Ex-Grizzlies sharpshooter could be great option for Bulls in free agency

The Chicago Bulls have some work to do.

Free agency is in full swing right now and the Bulls should be looking for ways to add more scoring after losing DeMar DeRozan this offseason already. Chicago added Josh Giddey by trading Alex Caruso and right now seems like they are going to hold on to Zach LaVine and Nikola Vučević.

The Bulls could use some more shooting and one player who could make some sense in free agency is sharpshooter Luke Kennard.

He has spent the 2023-24 season with the Memphis Grizzlies but is a free agent right now. There has been speculation that he would re-sign with Memphis, but a deal hasn't gotten done at this point.

Kennard is one of the top shooters in basketball and a deal wouldn't break the bank for Chicago. The 28-year-old has led the league in three-point percentage twice already throughout his career and shot 45 percent on 6.1 attempts per game last year.

He's the type of player the Bulls could bring in to help out either in the starting rotation or off the bench and add a layer that they don't currently have.

Kennard is one of the top shooters in the league and there will be plenty of shots to go around with DeRozan no longer playing for the Bulls. Why not take a chance on him?
