Angel Reese Trending After Legendary Chicago Rapper Mentions Her in Latest Song

The 2024 WNBA rookie class has been one of the most influential classes in league history. There isn't just one, but two incredible star rookies in Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky. While both have had a huge impact on women's basketball since college, Clark has received most of the credit.

Even so, Reese is recognized for the different culture that she brought to the NCAA and the WNBA, including her smack talk that is simply unmatched. Fortunately, one of Chicago's biggest rappers, Lil Durk, is among those people that recognize how much she's done, and decided to pay homage in his latest song.

This is awesome to see not only her influence on the WNBA as a whole, but the city of Chicago. There have been some legendary athletes come through Chicago including Michael Jordan, and she has already made an impact on their legendary sports scene.
