    Two people accused of switching stickers for cheaper prices

    HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Two people from Chicago are facing charges after being accused of switching price stickers for cheaper prices.

    According to an affidavit, officers were dispatched to Walmart on S. Red Bank Road for two males that were detained by asset protection.

    An employee said the men, Santiago Rosario and Hector Gonzalez, were seen placing cheaper stickers on multiple items then scanning the new sticker that they applied at check out.

    The employee said 19 items had been scanned on the original receipt. An inventory receipt reportedly showed a total of 34 items had not been scanned and had a value of $586.

    EPD says they also discovered the social security cards that Gonzalez and Rosario had were fake.
