Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky pulled off a major upset on Tuesday night by taking down the Las Vegas Aces, 93-85, on the reigning WNBA champions' own home floor.

Reese notched another double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, but ultimately, it was Chennedy Carter's 34-point eruption that led Chicago to victory.

As expected, the Sky players were on an absolute high after slapping the mighty Aces with their first defeat in five games. In fact, the post-game celebrations in the Chicago locker room were pretty epic—especially after a special celebrity guest came in to join the party.

This came in the form of multi-Grammy award-winning R&B superstar Usher, who attended the game at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.

Reese was clearly gushing on her Instagram live stream as she rubbed elbows with one of the biggest singers on the planet.

Reese then kept her fangirl mode going as she posted a video of herself and Usher on TikTok.

It goes without saying that the 22-year-old is a big Usher fan.

More importantly, though, this massive victory for Reese and the Sky was the perfect send-off as they enter the Olympic break. Chicago now gets a full month off with their next game scheduled on August 15 against the Phoenix Mercury.
