Angel Reese's Opinion Of A'ja Wilson Couldn't Be Clearer

Angel Reese and A'ja Wilson go way back. These two have a long-standing relationship, which was on full display after the Chicago Sky upset the Las Vegas Aces, 93-85, Tuesday night.

After the game, Reese and Wilson shared an endearing moment as the Aces superstar congratulated the rookie sensation on the win.

Prior to the game, Reese spoke openly about her relationship with the Las Vegas veteran. The 22-year-old Sky star made her opinion about Wilson extremely clear.

" I've been watching A'ja for a really long time even when she was in South Carolina," Reese said. "I've been talking to her since I was in Maryland. She was mentoring me a little bit when I was at Maryland.

"We still have that kind of relationship. I've tried to admire my game after her, being able to take some things from her."

Reese obviously holds Wilson in very high regard. Nevertheless, the Chicago forward also made a bold promise about going out there and facing Wilson without any fear.

"I can't go out here and look like, 'This is somebody I idolize,'" Reese said. "This is competition every time I go out there."

Reese delivered on her promise as she helped the Sky overcome Las Vegas on their home floor.
