Lunchbox’s parents grew up in Chicago, so when he was there, he visited the house his mother grew up in.

His grandfather built the house with his barehand from the ground up. He hadn’t seen the house since he was 22 years old, so he wanted to go by and see what it looked like now. When he pulled up there were cars in the driveway. He took pictures of the house from the sidewalk and even took a picture of himself standing on the front porch with two thumbs-up. He didn’t try to go into the house and just took pictures from the outside but didn’t know if he could do that since it was not his property. He did admit that if someone took a picture standing on his front porch with two-thumbs up and then walked away like he did he would’ve thought it was weird. He didn’t think of it that way through and looked at it as memories of when he used to visit his grandparents there.

The general rule is it’s weird to take a picture of someone’s house but if you do it from your car and don’t go on their property, it’s most likely fine. Amy shared that when she visited her parents' old house, she looked through the windows because she saw a bunch of fish tanks and was curious to see what was going on inside.
