Chicago rapper Lil Reese was arrested in Los Angeles Sunday for an alleged rape – but vehemently denied the charges and insisted the accuser was aiming for “clout.”

The “I Don’t Like” performer, 31, allegedly forced himself on a woman when he took her to his hotel following a date Saturday night, according to TMZ .

The alleged victim – who has not been named publicly – supposedly called the police to report the assault from the hotel lobby around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Lil Reese – whose real name is Tavares Taylor – was arrested at 5:20 that morning.

News of the arrest was first reported by fellow rapper Boosie Badazz, who posted a video saying that he had just seen the cops take Lil Reese away in handcuffs.

“I’m at the hotel downtown and they just took Lil Reese to jail,” he said in the footage, which was reshared by TMZ.

“He came out handcuffed. They had all his bags, so if any y’all Lil Reese people, y’all need to check on him. They just took him to jail,” he added, claiming that “some woman…lied on him or some s–t.”

“Any of Reese’s people, the Grim Reaper people, they just took him to jail downtown L.A. and put him in a car. Y’all need to tap in with your people,” Boosie told the camera.

Lil Reese was later released on his own recognizance on $100,000 bail, according to online jail records.

Lil Reese is set to appear in court on Aug. 8.

The Los Angeles Police Department did not immediately return The Post’s request for more information on the incident.

The Sunday arrest was hardly the rapper’s first brush with the law: In 2010, he was slapped with two years of probation for pleading guilty to burglary charges.

Two years later, he ignited a small media firestorm when a video that appeared to show him assaulting a woman was posted online. He was later charged with criminal trespass, battery, and mob action in connection with the incident, according to the Chicago Tribune .

Most recently, the rapper spent seven months in jail in Harris County, Texas, on an aggravated assault charge. He was released in January 2023.
