For the final time this season, the Cubs and Brewers take the field for a rivalry series.
Also known as the I-94 rivalry with Wrigley and American Family Field located just 80 miles from each other, Chicago-Milwaukee is one of the biggest rivals in the MLB despite first meeting less than 30 years ago. It helps that the two franchises are NL Central opponents, meaning every game matters.
That stands especially true this year in a close division.
The Brewers lead the division, leading the Cardinals by 4.5 games. The Cubs, meanwhile, sit at the bottom of the NL Central and behind Milwaukee by 8.5 games. So they need a strong start to the second half of the season. Or at the very least, could use the bragging rights against their rivals.
