Braves are fit for young superstar with 'high' chance of being traded

It's clear that changes are coming to the Atlanta Braves.

Atlanta has a real shot at making a deep playoff run this season and fighting for a World Series title but a strong trade deadline is necessary to help put the club over the top due to the wide range of injuries the club has had to deal with.

The Braves are loaded throughout the roster but could use another starter due to the loss of Spencer Strider and the best possible option out there who could help may just be Chicago White Sox ace Garrett Crochet.

The young All-Star has been fantastic this season but the White Sox are nearing a firesale and the New York Post's Jon Heyman said there is a "high" chance that he is traded.

"The outstanding reliever-turned-starter and Major League Baseball strikeout leader (150) presumably has some innings consideration since he’s up from 12 innings to more than 100 already," Heyman said. "He’s been linked to the (Los Angeles Dodgers), (San Diego Padres), (Baltimore Orioles), and (New York Yankees), but one person said the Yankees 'are not that into' him. Trade chances: High."

Crochet could be the perfect young option to help the Braves out this year and also for the foreseeable future. If the White Sox are listening, the Braves should be calling to see what it would cost to acquire him.
