    Man wanted for strangling, striking person with pliers on Red Line

    CHICAGO — A man is wanted by CPD for allegedly strangling and striking a Red Line rider with pliers Sunday.

    Police believe a man, approximately 30-35 years old wearing a white Bulls shirt and jeans, struck another man in the head with pliers after strangling him.

    The man then stole the victim’s cell phone. It happened just before 9:55 p.m. Sunday night near the 47th Street station.
