Dr. Borah from the CDPH discusses uptick in summer COVID cases in Chicago

CHICAGO — President Biden’s COVID diagnosis came as a surprise to many, but it comes amid an increase in reports of positive cases.

Dr. Brian Borah, the Medical Director for Vaccine-Preventable Diseases Surveillance at the Chicago Department of Public Health, joined WGN News on Friday to discuss the diagnosis and the recent uptick in summer COVID cases.

For Friday, July 19, WGN’s Medical Reporter Dina Bair has the latest on new information including the following.
