Angel Reese's Blunt Reaction to Record-Setting WNBA All-Star Game Performance Will Turn Heads

Angel Reese played a big role in helping the WNBA All-Stars beat Team USA in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game, and along the way, she made some history.

Reese has become a double-double machine for the Chicago Sky, and with 12 points and 11 rebounds in the contest on Saturday night, she became the first rookie to ever record a double-double in the All-Star Game.

That's a pretty big achievement that Reese should be quite proud of. After the game, though, she didn't seem too surprised by it, simply saying she expects herself to record a double-double every time she takes the court.

“Is it a surprise? I feel like I do this every night. The expectations are set and that’s what I’m expected to do.” - Angel Reese, The Athletic

Reese is averaging 13.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per game for the Chicago Sky, so while it's a common occurrence for her, that doesn't make it any less impressive. And to do it in the All-Star Game as a rookie is even more of an achievement.

For Reese, though, it's par for the course, and she will look to continue to add to her collection of double-doubles when the Sky return to action midway in August.
