CHICAGO — Hillary Clinton is returning to the city and state she once called home to promote her new memoir, a collection of essays reflecting on her life in the public eye and personal battles behind the scenes.

The former presidential candidate and first lady will come to Chicago this fall as part of a cross-country tour to promote “ Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty .” Clinton’s book tour includes a stop at the Auditorium Theatre on Sunday, Oct. 13.

The show starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are on sale now.

Biden will make a case for his legacy — and for Harris to continue it — in his Oval Office address

The memoir, set to be released on Sept. 17, covers topics such as her marriage to Bill Clinton, her Methodist faith, her failed presidential runs and her friendships with other first ladies.

Clinton’s previous books include bestsellers, “It Takes a Village,” “Living History” and “What Happened.”

The first woman in history to represent a major party in a United States presidential election, Clinton recently endorsed Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee in the 2024 November election after President Joe Biden announced on Sunday that he would not seek reelection.
