The WNBA has reached its Olympic break. While some players have shared their excitement for vacation time, Chicago Sky star Chennedy Carter has made it clear that she can't wait to return to the hardwood.

Carter went to social media to share her thoughts on the break, mentioning, "I miss hoops." Her comments about resuming the WNBA season left fans flooding the post with responses to her confession.

"I wanna play some games, I miss hoops," Carter said.

Fans were right behind Carter's take, seemingly agreeing with her statement on missing WNBA games.

"We miss watching you hoop!" said one fan.

"Trust me we miss watching you hoop aswell" said another fan.

"We miss you hooping too!" commented another with a crying emoji.

"I miss watching you hoop too. Can't wait until you're back on my tv screen," said another.

Carter has had a phenomenal season with the Sky. While she started the year coming off the bench, the veteran guard leads Chicago in scoring with 16.4 points per game.

She's helped the Sky earn the No. 8 slot in the WNBA rankings, which is a significant landing spot, considering the top eight teams in the standings make the playoffs.

Carter is playing in her first season with the Sky. She seems to be a great fit with head coach Teresa Weatherspoon, who likes to play a fast-paced, high-intensity scheme on both ends of the floor.
