The starting pitching-needy Mets are searching for an arm, and a former Yankee is on their radar.

Cubs right-hander Jameson Taillon is someone they have enquired about, The Post’s Jon Heyman reported Sunday.

Taillon, 32, is having a strong season, pitching to a 2.96 ERA with a 1.15 WHIP in 100 ⅓ innings.

The Cubs may not move Taillon, who has two years of control after this season, as Heyman noted.

The Mets have also been linked to White Sox starter Erick Fedde, among others.

For now, Tylor Megill is in the rotation, but that may not be the case for very long.

The Mets currently own the third wild-card spot in the National League, but are just one-half game behind the Braves and Padres for the first spot.
