CHICAGO — Chicago police are searching for at least two armed robbers who targeted two different stores in a span of 20-minutes on the city’s Northwest Side.

The first incident happened around 8:35 p.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of West Addison Street. Police said two men, one armed with a handgun, entered a retail store and approached the clerks to demand money from the registers.

The victims complied and the men fled the scene, according to police. No injuries were reported.

The second incident happened just minutes later at 8:55 a.m. Sunday in the 3600 block of West Montrose Avenue. Police said two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the store and also demanded money from the registers — in which the clerks complied.

The men fled the scene. No one was injured.
