It's been a busy Monday for the Chicago White Sox, who executed a three-team trade that sent veterans Erick Fedde, Michael Kopech, and Tommy Pham to National League contenders. With the deal now official, the Sox made several transactions to fill out their roster.

The White Sox recalled outfielder Dominic Fletcher and lefty reliever Sammy Peralta from Triple-A Charlotte to replace Pham and Kopech, respectively. Chicago also purchased right-hander Touki Toussaint's contract from Charlotte to help cover the innings void Fedde will leave behind.

Acquired in an offseason trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Fletcher has struggled in two stints with the White Sox so far this season. The 26-year-old owns a .173/.253/.227 slash line with four doubles and six RBIs across 84 plate appearances in the big leagues. In 120 minor-league plate appearances this season, Fletcher is slashing .243/.319/.355 with two home runs, six doubles, and seven RBIs.

Peralta returns to Chicago after being optioned on July 27. The southpaw owns a 3.00 ERA across six innings with the White Sox and a 4.60 ERA in 29.1 minor-league innings this season.

Toussaint will get his first crack at the big leagues this season after making 15 starts for the White Sox in 2023. The 28-year-old has spent all of 2024 with Charlotte, where he touts a 5.15 ERA in 50.2 innings across 17 games (eight starts).

While MLB trade deadline transactions dominate baseball headlines, there are still games to play. The White Sox return to action Monday when they open a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals. First pitch is at 7:10 PM CT and the game will air on NBC Sports Chicago .
