One of the Bears’ key cogs is staying put for the long haul.

Chicago reached a four-year, $110 million extension with receiver DJ Moore, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

As an interesting wrinkle, the deal provides $82.6 million guaranteed, which ensures complete guaranteed money for the first 10 years of Moore’s career, per Schefter.

In his first season in the Windy City after five seasons with the Panthers, Moore didn’t miss a beat.

The 27-year-old posted 96 catches for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns, all of which were career-bests.

In terms of more advanced metrics, Moore ranked ninth among wideouts in Pro Football Focus’ receiving grade and in total expected points added at the position.

With his new payday, Moore ranks seventh among receivers in average annual value ($27.5 million) and moves ahead of Cooper Kupp, DeVonta Smith and Nico Collins.

NFC North predictions, odds: Vikings will struggle in 2024

Moore, a first-round pick in 2018 by the Panthers, signed a three-year, $61.9 million extension with Carolina in March 2022.

But one year later, he was sent to the Bears as part of a package that gave Carolina the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

That trade also allowed the Bears to get the No. 1 overall pick in 2024 and land USC star QB Caleb Williams.

Now entrenched with Chicago for the foreseeable future, Moore will play with a considerably upgraded offense.

This offseason alone, the Bears added Williams , who replaces the inconsistent Justin Fields under center.

Beyond that, Moore will team with one of the NFL’s best receiving corps, with veteran Keenan Allen and No. 9 pick Rome Odunze, not to mention running back D’Andre Swift .

Boasting a plethora of talent on both sides of the ball, the new-look Bears are expected to make the jump from 7-10 to the postseason.

Chicago begins its quest for its first playoff win since 2010 when it starts the preseason against the Texans on Thursday in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.
