Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore.

The Bears signed wide receiver DJ Moore to a four-year, $110 million contract extension on Tuesday and he's hoping he's not the last of his teammates to get paid ahead of the 2024 season.

Moore is advocating for Chicago to also extend fellow veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen, who the team traded for in March.

"I was like, man, listen. What's your number? Let's get it done," Moore said , via NBC Sports Chicago. "And I mean, I'm going to leave his number out of it. But I think we can get it done."

Allen is entering the final year of his current contract and it's unlikely the Bears traded for him to just be a one-year rental.

The six-time Pro Bowler is 32 but has shown no signs of slowing down, coming off yet another productive season in 2023 in which he registered a career-high 108 catches for 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns with the Chargers.

One player that could throw a wrinkle into a potential extension for Allen is wide receiver Rome Odunze, whom Chicago drafted with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

However, Moore believes there's been a narrative about the Bears: It's where wide receivers go to die.

"When I got here, (the narrative) was a thing," Moore said , via the Chicago Sun-Times' Patrick Finley. "And then when the season was progressing the way it was, I was just like, 'Yeah, we can throw that out the window now.'"

Locking up Allen for the foreseeable future would give Chicago arguably the best wide receiver trio in the league and, without a doubt, throw that narrative out the window.

Moore is now signed through the 2029 season while Odunze is beginning his NFL career on his four-year rookie deal with a fifth-year option. It's not hard to imagine Allen being next for a budding Bears team.
