White Sox Make 4 Roster Moves to Set Up Ky Bush's MLB Debut

Before Monday's game against the Oakland Athletics, the Chicago White Sox made four roster moves involving pitchers. The Sox selected Ky Bush's contract from Triple-A Charlotte, activated Dominic Leone from the 60-day injured list, and optioned Prelander Berroa and Sammy Peralta to Charlotte.
As reported Sunday, Bush will make his MLB debut when he starts for the White Sox in Monday's series opener. The left-hander owns a 2.89 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 99.2 innings split between Double-A and Triple-A this season. Bush is the No. 17 prospect in the White Sox' farm system, per MLB Pipeline.
Rotating Relievers
Dominic Leone has been on the shelf since May 21 due to right elbow inflammation. The veteran righty logged a 7.04 ERA and 1.696 WHIP in 15.1 innings across 18 games for the White Sox before his injury. Leone recorded seven strikeouts and allowed two runs on four hits in four innings during a recent Triple-A rehab assignment.
Prelander Berroa returns to Charlotte, where he's spent most of the 2024 season. The 24-year-old has allowed three earned runs in two innings across two brief stints with the White Sox and touts a 6.69 ERA through 40.1 minor-league innings this season.
Sammy Peralta will continue racking up frequent flyer miles between Charlotte and Chicago after Monday's demotion. The southpaw has a 5.06 ERA in 10.2 MLB innings and a 4.60 mark in 29.1 minor-league innings this season.
