The “Olympics of Skydiving” are soaring into Chicagoland next month, bringing together top skydivers from across the country for an epic high-flying competition.

The 2024 United States Parachute Association (USPA) National Championships will be hosted from September 8-26, at Skydive Chicago . Participating skydivers will compete in a variety of challenges, including canopy piloting, artistic routines, and more.

“Elite athletes are coming nationwide to compete in a range of events, showcasing the variety of the sport and how rewarding competition can be,” said CEO of Skydive Chicago and World Champion Rook Nelson. “We’re honored to host at Skydive Chicago and show the world what our U.S. skydivers can do.”

“Nationals is our marquee annual skydiving event,” said USPA Executive Director Albert Berchtold.

“Just as the Olympic Trials represent the pinnacle of athletic achievement for many other sports, Nationals is the ultimate test of skill for skydivers across the nation, allowing these elite athletes to reach new heights in the sport.”

The USPA National Championships is the perfect opportunity to learn about skydiving and view the sport like never before. Spectators will be able to get up close and personal and view the high-flying feats from the drop zone. Live streaming options will also be available.
