Halloween in Chicago just got a lot more spooky and sweet with these bakeries and cafes serving specialty desserts for the season. Order themed desserts from these local places to serve at your upcoming Halloween parties.

    Sweet Mandy B’s

    • Thursday, October 17 - Thursday, October 31

In limited quantities, Sweet Mandy B’s is now offering several Halloween-themed desserts, including Ghost Cut-out Cookies, Iced Rice Krispies, Furry Monster Brownies, Bloody Red Velvet Cupcakes, Mummy Cupcakes, and a six-pack of decorated cupcakes. Cakes will be available for custom order and limited in-store quantities. Through all of October, Sweet Mandy B’s also showcases pumpkin desserts, including cupcakes, cheesecakes, muffins, pies, breads, and more.

    Daisies Chicago

    • Thursday, October 24 - Thursday, October 31

The award-winning Daisies in Logan Square will feature $25 Halloween-themed pastry boxes, made by Pastry Chef Leigh Omilinsky. Each box will showcase five pastries in the shape of fun Halloween monsters, including the following: apple cider donut cakes shaped like eyeballs, pumpkin-shaped spiced cakes, Oreo cookie dough mummies, black cocoa Kouign Amann topped with a red fruit jam, and a chocolate monster whoopee pie filled with cream cheese frosting. No substitutions will be made for pastry boxes. While supplies last, these limited-edition, individual pastries can also be purchased separately.

    Venteux Cafe & Brasserie

    • Through the end of October

French brasserie Venteux on the Magnificent Mile is now offering an $18 Pumpkin Spice Soufflé that is perfect for the pumpkin spice season. This light and luxurious dessert features a rich and silky custard infused with pumpkin spice with a drizzle of pumpkin crème anglaise. The soufflé pairs well with the cafe’s $8 Pumpkin Spice Latte, which includes two shots of espresso, choice of millk, and pumpkin syrup.
