Cubs' Justin Steele puts a fitting capper on his June — yet another terrific start, still zero 'Ws'
MILWAUKEE — Any year now, Cubs lefty Justin Steele will be credited with one of those elusive distinctions known in baseball circles as a pitching victory. OK, so it might not happen this year. But it almost has to happen eventually — later rather than sooner, because we’re so far beyond “sooner” here, it isn’t even funny.

Why the White Sox continue to play Eloy Jimenez as he continues his recovery process
White Sox designated hitter Eloy Jimenez has been noticeably laboring over the past couple of games when he’s asked to run the bases. For the first time in her life, Kylie Lefever feels like she belongs. She and her drag persona, Kylee Hunter, moved to Chicago in 2022. She’d been living in Florida at the time, and performing had gotten too hard. Don't give up on Joe Biden
It’s too late for Hunter S. Thompson to write a sequel to his book “Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail.” If it weren’t, I can only imagine what he would think of those on the fringe of the Democratic Party calling for an open convention after President Biden’s debate performance on Thursday night. It’s bizarre to see said Democrats forget a basic political lesson at this crucial moment — always close ranks around the successful incumbent.
