    Death investigation launched after man found deceased in vehicle in Bronzeville

    Chicago police have opened a death investigation after a man was discovered Wednesday afternoon with a gunshot wound inside a parked vehicle in the Bronzeville neighborhood, authorities said.

    Shortly after 5:15 p.m., officers discovered a 44-year-old man unresponsive in a vehicle in the 4000 block of South King Drive. The man had a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

    The man had not yet been identified, police said, and an investigation was ongoing.
