Engineers rate Georgia "C+" in infrastructure
The condition of Georgia's infrastructure received a decidedly mediocre grade of "C+" Monday in a report released by the Georgia section of the American Society of Civil Engineers. For the second weekend in a row, a white supremacist group carrying Nazi flags took to the streets of downtown Nashville. The group, called the Goyim Defense League, is described by the Anti-Defamation League as a loose network of antisemites and white supremacists who are best known for their “antisemitic stunts and schemes to troll or otherwise harass Jewish people.”

ATLANTA, Georgia — The AARP Network of Age-Friendly States & Communities welcomed the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) into the network during an in-person designation ceremony on July 10, 2024. The 11 counties represented by ARC serve over five-million Georgians of which 18.82% are older adults 60 years old and over. The Cobb County Water System has reported another sewage overflow. This time, an estimated 1,020-gallon wastewater sewer overflow occurred on July 11 at 1930 Blackwell Road in Marietta and discharged into a tributary of Rubes Creek. The Water System was notified of the overflow at 10:05 a.m. on July 11, and the overflow was stopped by 12:55 p.m. the same day.

Volunteer firefighters with the Jasper, Kimball, and Whitwell Volunteer Fire Departments took part in a join training effort on Saturday in Jasper.
