Roads back open after fire truck crash caused major traffic backups in Dallas
DALLAS — Four Dallas firefighters were injured after a fire truck drove off Interstate 345 onto DART Tracks below the roadway, officials said. The incident occurred just after 6 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 345 and South Good Latimer Expressway, officials said in a release. Four members of Dallas Fire-Rescue were transported from the scene to Baylor University Medical Center, officials said. All four firefighters are in stable condition, officials said.
Body of Deceased Person Recovered from Lewisville Lake
LITTLE ELM, Texas — Authorities have recovered the body of a deceased person from a remote part of Lewisville Lake, according to the Little Elm Police Department. The Denton County Medical Examiner will assist with the investigation, and the body will be transported to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner for identification. Infant reportedly found dead inside dumpster in Fort Worth, no arrests made
FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Police Department has opened an investigation after a baby was reportedly found dead inside a dumpster on Sunday, July 14. According to police, the Crimes Against Children Unit has been assigned to the case and the department is working with the Medical Examiner's office to get the cause of death.
