Chicopee fireworks at Szot Park on Friday

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee Parks and Recreation will be hosting the fireworks celebration on Friday.

The fireworks will take place at Szot Park, gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and there will be vendors, face painting, and more.

“We are excited to bring this cherished tradition back to Chicopee,” said Ben Strepka, Superintendent of Chicopee Parks and Recreation. “We invite everyone to join us for an evening of patriotic spirit and community camaraderie.”

Food vendors will be available with food and drinks for purchase. The fireworks show will begin at dusk.
