UConn Health is now offering the drug lecanemab to patients with mild signs of dementia. In clinical trials it was shown to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s. The memory assessment team at the UConn Center on Aging consists of multidisciplinary experts who monitor and guide patients through the treatment process.
