PIKE COUNTY – Fluor-BWXT (FBP) presented a check for $9,500 to Seal Township for the upkeep and ongoing beautification program at Mound Cemetery. The township has an easement with the former Gaseous Diffusion Plant for utilities.

“We know there is a lot that goes into keeping the cemetery mowed and clean,” said FBP President and CEO, Greg Wilkett. “Because we have an easement that runs through the cemetery grounds, we want to be good neighbors and help with the upkeep. This donation will help the township in doing so.”

Seal Township Trustee, Johnathan Johnson said the donation will allow workers to continue to expand the upkeep.

“We have one full-time worker and a few part-time workers that tend to the cemetery regularly,” he explained. “We appreciate the generosity of FBP to continue keeping the rich history in Pike County a place for loved ones to be proud of.”
