ABCs of Ross County: X-Rays

CHILLICOTHE— From Adena Mansion to Zane's Trace Ross County is filled with a rich history. When looking at the ABCs of Ross County the X stands for X-rays.

When going to the dentist you might have to get your teeth x-rayed during your checkup. However, the dentist's office you know today is quite different than the ones before and the Dr. John Harris Dental Museum in Bainbridge shows that.

The museum is filled with objects spanning the history of the dentistry profession showing how it has evolved over the years. The building housing the museum was a former dental school established by Dr. John Harris. The plaque on the building calls the school the "cradle of dental education."
