    Volleyball tournament: Adena earns No. 2 seed, Huntington the No. 3 seed

    Teams in the Southeast District learned their first round opponents on Sunday in the upcoming volleyball tournament.

    In Division III, Unioto earned the No. 5 seed and will travel to face Athens, the No. 4 seed, at 7 p.m. Oct. 14. If it wins, it would face the No. 1 seed Marietta.

    Chillicothe is the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 seed Miami Trace at 7 p.m. Oct. 14. If it wins, it would advance to face the No. 2 seed Sheridan.

    In Division IV, Waverly is the No. 8 seed and will host Vinton County at 7 p.m. Oct. 14. If it wins, it would advance to play the No. 1 seed Warren.

    In Division V, Adena is the No. 2 seed and will host Dawson-Bryant, the No. 23 seed at 7 p.m. Oct. 16.

    Huntington is the No. 3 seed and will host No. 22 River Valley at 7 p.m. Oct. 16.

    Zane Trace is the No. 9 seed and will host No. 16 Warren at 7 p.m. Oct. 16.

    Westfall is the No. 10 seed and will host No. 15 West Union at 7 p.m. Oct. 16.

    Piketon is the No. 18 seed and will travel to No. 7 Minford at 7 p.m. Oct. 16.

    Paint Valley is the No. 19 and will travel to No. 6 Fairland at 7 p.m Oct. 16.

    In Division VI, Southeastern is the No. 4 seed and will host No. 13 Ripley at 7 p.m. Oct. 15.
