    June permit report shows construction happening in the area

    CHILLICOTHE— With the warm weather work crews have been out in the county working hard to complete various projects as shown by the 70 permits shown on the June permit report from the Ross County Building Department.

    In Chillicothe, the Mt. Logan School project received a permit for a new storefront at the main entrance, a new business sign for a business at 95 North Mulberry Street was also approved and two permits were granted for reroofing phases at the Shawnee Square Chillicothe Shopping Center.

    Also in Ross County, Kenworth Truck received conditional approval for the foundation only to a single-story expansion on the existing factory building. Buckeye Metals in Frankfort received a permit for a new 30,000-square-foot building and a lean ro, Pine Tree Cafe in Londonderry received conditional approval for an addition to the existing business and Cross Creek Petroleum LLC obtained a certificate of occupancy for a new gas station located at 29094 US 50 under the project name Plaza 50.

    In Pike County the Pike County Kemper Konnection project through the Pike County Board of DD received nonconformance approval for the foundation only of a classroom addition.
