New banking location opens in Chillicothe

CHILLICOTHE— A new LCNB National Bank location recently opened in the Downtown Chillicothe area.

LCNB National Bank was founded in 1877 and has served communities in Ohio and Kentucky over the years. The new location in Chillicothe offers in-person banking, a drive through and an ATM.

President and CEO Eric Meilstrup said he was "excited" to see the building welcoming customers as it has been a long journey of moving, finding a good location and finally building the new office. He hopes this new office and the continued desire to be downtown shows Chillicothe that the bank is committed to staying here and being a valuable community partner.

"We are here to stay," said Meilstrup.

To celebrate the opening the bank held a ribbon cutting where the community was invited to check out the new location. During this event, President and CEO of the Chillicothe-Ross Chamber of Commerce Mike Throne said he was happy to see the bank's commitment to the community as local banks are important to towns like Chillicothe.

The new bank office is located at 193 East Main Street in Chillicothe.
