Dover reaches settlement with property owner near bridge project
DOVER (WJER) (July 19, 2024) – The city and a homeowner have finally agreed to a settlement involving a bridge reconstruction project that has been on hold for years. City officials have been discussing replacing the low-level bridge over East 20th Street near Dover Middle School since before ODOT awarded a $602,000 grant for the project in 2020. Three neighboring property owners reached eminent domain agreements with the city for small portions of their property, but a fourth has been holding out. The ensuing court case has been ongoing since 2022.

Because this is a topic that I understand 99.9% of our readers won't give a shit about, but I need to get something off my chest. Some people have to scream into their pillows when they're upset and some people have to open up their computer and type out the frustration. That's what I'm going to do here. Because we have Quinn Ewers, who literally picked up his NIL check in Columbus and immediately left, still is referring to Michigan as "That Team Up North". Meanwhile the QB1 of our actual team last year referred to Michigan as "just another game".
