Air Force first sergeants volunteer time to local Habitat for Humanity
The local Habitat for Humanity that services Autauga and Chilton Counties had help from the Air Force First Sergeants from Maxwell Air Force Base Wednesday afternoon. Habitat for Humanity is a part of a global nonprofit housing organization that strives to bring people together to build not only homes but communities and hope. Habitat is built and operated on Christian principles and seeks to provide God’s love into each action by building those homes, communities and hope on a local level.
Chilton unemployment rate falls in May

Overturned 18-wheeler causing interstate headache near Calera
An overturned 18-wheeler is causing major traffic delays on Interstate 65 near the Shelby / Chilton County line. The City of Calera says the truck was hauling gravel that will take several hours to cleanup. Use alternate route if possible.
