Power outage, flooding cancels Warren City Council meeting
A power outage at the Warren Community Center Tuesday prompted the cancellation of a Warren City Council meeting scheduled to take place in the auditorium at 7 p.m. Council Secretary Mindy Moore said the meeting would be rescheduled but a date had not yet been determined. She expects that it will likely be sometime next week.

This letter to the editor is in response to the letter titled, “See the truth,” that was published in the June 19, 2024, edition of The Voice. Read the conviction and you will know what law felon Trump violated. On the stand David Pecker told of all the stories that were made up against not only Hillary Clinton, but the likes of Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. Mr. Pecker testified they also paid for and suppressed stories that were true but would damage Trump in the presidential campaign. All this with felon Trump’s knowledge.

Ray Township voters to decide on fire station proposal
Ray Township voters will weigh in on the need for a new fire station during the Aug. 6 primary, as well vote in contested races for supervisor and trustee. The bond proposal asks voters if Ray Township shall borrow a sum not to exceed $5.5 million, and issue unlimited tax general obligation bonds in one or more series. These would be payable within 21 years from the date of issue.
