Thousands of residents lost power Sunday night after severe monsoon winds knocked down 27 power poles in northeast Phoenix, Arizona Public Service announced. At the height of the storm, around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, approximately 3,000 customers were without power, APS spokesperson Yessica del Rincon said.
