Tony Evers in March. 2023 Wisconsin Act 253 allows police and corrections officials to charge some requesters of video and audio recordings for the cost of redaction — that is, blurring out certain information.

Wisconsin high-speed pursuit, crash; driver arrested, drugs found
WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. - A Milwaukee man was arrested after a high-speed pursuit from Walworth County into Rock County that ended with a crash on Sunday, June 30. According to the Walworth County Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped a vehicle for unlawful window tint and having no front license plate. The driver initially pulled over and provided an Illinois driver's license.

Authorities in Wisconsin respond to cheese-related throwing incident, police say it’s ‘un-brie-lievable’
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Eau Claire responded to what they called, “The most Wisconsin complaint ever,” around 9:46 p.m. on Monday. According to a Facebook post by the Eau Claire Police Department, officers were sent to check on a report from a driver that somebody was chasing them down and throwing cheese at their car.
