The Arkansas game kicked off a stretch where A&M in five games would basically play four determined by a coin flip. That was certainly the case with Arkansas. The Aggies won because they had no turnovers and the Razorbacks had three. A&M quarterback Marcel Reed helped his team to victory, while his counterpart, Taylen Green, cost his team big time. He had three turnovers and made poor decisions that could have led to one or two more. He had a huge edge over Reed in experience, but that playing time came at Boise State in the Mountain West, which certainly is not the Southeastern Conference. It’s like rushing for 2,000 yards on the JV team. Reed looked the more poised signal-caller, but he also had the better defense. That was the ace in the hole as both teams struggled offensively. Many things could be the same this week. Missouri quarterback Brady Cook has the experience and in the SEC to boot, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be the best at that position in the game. The winning nod goes to the best defense, but which team is that? It probably will take 60 minutes to figure that out, unless you want to flip a coin and save time.
