Faith is clearly irritated, but Lucy seems oblivious and unable to pick up on the hints. In Lucy's perspective, Faith is her friend and someone who enjoys spending time with her.
Although Lucy's pestering can be bothersome, she is not doing anything terrible. Lucy's only offense is disrupting Faith's vibe and not understanding that Faith is not interested in spending time together.
In the July 22 episode, Faith disinvited her to the pool party, which hurt Lucy's feelings.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Lucy may have convinced Faith to invite her initially, but it will still hurt when Faith makes excuses to uninvite her. This shows that Lucy's actions may have played a role in the situation, but ultimately, Faith decides to uninvite her.
Faith gave Lucy a lame excuse about why Lucy couldn't come to the party. She told her they would be serving alcohol, which is not appropriate for a girl Lucy's age. While Lucy pointed out that Faith doesn't drink, the answer was still no to bringing the 15-year-old girl to the college party.
After Lucy was disinvited to the party, she returned to the table with her dad, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei). Lucy lies to her dad and says the party is still on, and she's excited about making new friends. Daniel advises his daughter to decline any alcohol.
There is a clear indication that Y&R is emphasizing the alcohol aspect, leading to a high possibility of Lucy getting intoxicated and losing control. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Lucy will crash the party and trigger Faith's anger, leading to further heartbreak for the young girl.
If Faith rejects her at the party, Lucy could spin out of control, consuming alcohol underage and potentially getting into a car accident. This will likely lead to Faith experiencing intense feelings of guilt for the way things unfolded.
Faith may hold herself responsible for Lucy's accident, similar to how Daniel continues to blame himself for Cassie Newman's (Camryn Grimes) tragic incident many years ago.
