Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki Livid Over Victor's Chancellor Takeover, Marriage In Trouble

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) threw Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) for a loop with the Chancellor Industries takeover plan. Soaps Spoilers reports that Nikki refuses to give Victor an answer on whether she will agree to run Chancellor Industries.

Victor outlines his plan to acquire Chancellor Industries to Nikki, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Adam thinks it is a solid business move, but Nick, Victoria, and Nikki aren't on board.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victoria worries where this would leave Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). She doesn't want him to spiral downward and worries how this could affect her children, Katie and Johnny.

On the other hand, Nikki is livid about Victor reshuffling the family. He moved Adam to Newman Media and plans for her to run Chancellor Industries. She thinks all this shuffling is unnecessary. Nikki also points out this could adversely affect Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who is doing a fantastic job running Chancellor Industries.

Victor rebuffs her concern by confirming Lily will stay working alongside Nikki if she wants to. She's an invaluable asset. However, Victor wants Billy to go back to Jabot. He doesn't think Billy deserves to work at Chancellor Industries, claiming he's always had everything handed to him.

Nikki and Victoria exit the office, and the mother asks her daughter how she feels about the meeting. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nikki isn't sure about the acquisition of Chancellor Industries. She has a lot of thinking to do, but she tells Victoria that she's not happy with this move.

Nikki, Victoria, and Nick do not know this is all part of Victor's plan to target the Abbotts. He wants to acquire Chancellor Industries to force Billy to return to Jabot to make it easier to target the Abbotts in one swoop.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that she comes unglued when Nikki learns of Victor's actual plans for the Abbotts. She considers leaving Victor after he launches a malicious attack on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
