House Of Dragons Finale Leaked Online, HBO Faces Security Crisis

The highly anticipated House Of Dragons Season 2 finale airs on HBO this Sunday, August 4th. However, if you've been on social media lately, you've already stumbled upon leaked scenes from the episode. So much for keeping the finale under wraps!

Fans of House Of Dragons have been eagerly awaiting this week's season 2 finale, but someone couldn't contain their excitement and started sharing clips of the episode on TikTok.

House Of Dragons – TikTok Hit By Leak

It's not clear if the person behind the House of Dragon leak is an insider who recorded scenes on their phone and uploaded them or if a hacker stole the footage. In today's digital age, a skilled hacker could potentially access the finale remotely and spread it online.

Whatever the source, HBO quickly went into crisis mode. Soap Opera Spy reports that TikTok began removing the videos and shutting down the account responsible for the leaks. But the damage was already done. Even though TikTok took down the videos, other users had already recorded them and shared them on other social media platforms.

If you're still trying to avoid spoilers and watch the House Of Dragons finale when it officially airs, we strongly suggest staying off the internet until August 4th.

HBO has yet to release a statement about the video leak, but they're still planning to air the episode this Sunday (even though you can now watch the entire thing online).

HBO – Security Breach! Network Faces Another Leak

Interestingly, this isn't HBO's first rodeo with security breaches. Game Of Thrones episodes were leaked on social media multiple times during the show's run.
