Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Gets Custody Edge, Victor Helps Granddaughter Score A Win

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint at big changes in the Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) custody storyline during the week of August 5-9.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is looking after Harrison while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is in Paris, but trouble is brewing.

It seems Summer will let Harrison get hurt under her care. It's likely just a minor accident, but Kyle will be furious. He might claim this wouldn't have happened had Summer allowed him to take Harrison to Paris as he wanted.

Kyle could accuse Summer of being careless and warn that the judge will hear about this. It's clear both Summer and Kyle are ready to fight dirty, so it may come down to who can play the nastiest game!

In any case, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will make things worse – probably by telling Kyle about Harrison's accident while he's in France. Summer might find out about this and be angry at Claire for butting in and basically calling Kyle back.

Summer might realize she needs to use her last option as the custody battle heats up. She's already said she'll ask Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for help if needed – and "The Moustache" is about the best ace up one's sleeve!

In the August 9 episode, Victor will indeed use his connections to help Summer. We'll see Victor work his usual magic and show his power, which won't make Kyle happy. Victor is known for bribing and blackmailing when needed, so he'll have some tricks to help Summer.

Since Victor knows how much Summer loves Harrison, he wants to help her keep her place in the boy's life. Victor might also threaten to fire Kyle from Glissade if he doesn't back down and try to work things out with Summer.

However, Kyle might say his son matters more than his job and vow to keep fighting Summer for Harrison. Of course, Victor always says business is business, so he'll suggest keeping Glissade separate from all the anger over Harrison.

Either way, Y&R predictions suggest Victor will make some moves to help Summer. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will hope it's enough to get sole custody, but will things turn out that way?
