Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Unravels After Chelsea Confession, Adam Lies To Sally

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 23, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will finally learn the whole truth about Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Soaps Spoilers reports that Chelsea tells Billy the truth because she was "torn inside out" keeping it from him.

Chelsea explains that she and Adma were devastated by Connor Newman's (Judah MacKey) setback in Baltimore. They started drinking, and one thing led to another, and they slept together. Billy listened as he fought the tears away.

Billy appreciated her honesty but admitted he felt numb. He wasn't sure how he felt about it. Chelsea begged him to forgive her and told him she loved him. He abruptly leaves to go to Chancellor Park to think about her confession.

Meanwhile, at Adam's penthouse, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) asks Adam if he slept with Chelsea. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Adam avoids the question by telling Sally how important she is to him. He says he would never knowingly betray her.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally asks Adam if he slept with Chelsea. She wants a yes or no answer. He tells her he didn't. Sally doesn't believe him but lets it slide.

Chelsea texts Adam and tells him she told Billy the truth. Adam sighs and looks concerned. He knows Billy will fill Sally in, and she will know he lied to her about not sleeping with Chelsea that night in Baltimore.
