Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Silly Demand, Wants Kyle To Fire Claire To Protect Her

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 26 teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) demands Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) fire Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) as Harrison's nanny. Soaps Spoilers report that Victor realizes his granddaughter loves her job as a nanny but fears the Abbott-Newman war could further traumatize his emotionally fragile granddaughter.

Victor asks Kyle how long it would take him to find a nanny replacement. Kyle seemed confused by Victor's question. He had no plans to replace Claire. Harrison adores her, and her work is stellar. Victor doesn't see another way. Kyle must fire Claire immediately to protect her from the brewing war.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Kyle seems annoyed by Victor's demand. He sees no reason to fire her. Kyle tries to reassure Victor that Claire will remain safe in whatever is coming next. However, Victor refuses to allow his granddaughter to get caught in the crossfire.

The only catch is Victor doesn't want Kyle to inform Claire that he pushed him to fire her. He encourages Kyle to devise an excuse to let her go, even if he must blame Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Kyle doesn't like it, but he agrees. He believes in his partnership with Victor and wants to make Glissade work. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Claire will blame Summer for Summer's job loss and confront her about it later in the week.
